We have so many illusions about what will make us happy, and then we go and get the “things” and experiences and when it’s over we have to look for some new way to feed the “happiness machine” in a never-ending quest.

Personally the happiest I’ve ever been is when I’m fully engaged in doing what I love, or spending time with people I care about, or helping someone else without concern for what I will get back. You can’t buy happiness but you can make it 🙂
